03 — You Review and Request Changes

Open the plan, check it against your clinical judgement, and mark what you want changed. The setup is yours to direct.

  • Reduce, redistribute or remove IPR
  • Change attachment type, position or timing
  • Re-sequence movements or extend the stage count
  • Cap expansion or proclination
  • Revisions are unlimited and included until you approve

One Prescription, Followed to the Letter

This is what arrives. This is what we do with it.

A non-extraction Class I case with anterior crowding, a midline shift and two restorations that must not move. Here is the clinician's instruction, and what the finished plan did about every line of it.

IPR permitted, maximum 0.3 mm per contact, anterior only
1.6 mm total across six anterior contacts. Largest single reduction 0.3 mm. No posterior enamel touched.
Expansion permitted, up to 0.5 mm per side
0.4 mm per side, inside the limit, which is where most of the lower crowding went.
No proclination beyond 2 degrees
1.4 degrees. The rest of the space came from IPR and expansion instead.
Do not move 16 (implant) or 26 (crown, margin at risk)
Both pinned as fixed anchorage. Zero movement across all 28 stages, and used deliberately to anchor the anterior correction.
Attachments minimal in the aesthetic zone, 13 to 23
Six attachments placed, one inside the aesthetic zone, removed at stage 19 once its rotation was complete.
Correct upper midline, 1.2 mm to patient left
Midline closed to 0.1 mm by stage 24, without reciprocal shift in the lower arch.
Reduce overjet to 2.5 mm and overbite to 2.0 mm
Final stage reached 2.4 mm overjet and 2.0 mm overbite, with posterior contacts checked.

Every case comes back with this. Not just the files — a written account of how your prescription shaped the plan, and where we came close to a limit you set. If we think an instruction will stop the case tracking, we say so before we build it.
